Can I keep only certain pages instead of deleting the rest?
Yes. Use the keep only option when you want the output to contain just the pages you enter. This is helpful when a long document has only a few pages worth sending, such as one form, one chapter or one signed section.
What page range format should I use?
Use commas for separate pages and a dash for a range. For example, 2, 5, 8-11 removes pages 2, 5 and 8 through 11. Before running the job, check whether your PDF viewer page number matches the printed page number on the document.
Does deleting pages change the original PDF?
No. PDFem creates a new PDF with the selected pages removed or kept. The original upload is not edited. If you removed the wrong page, adjust the range and run the job again with the same source file.
Will the remaining pages be renumbered?
The pages in the output PDF will appear in their new order, but printed page numbers that are already part of the document content will not be rewritten. If you need fresh visible page numbers after deleting pages, use Add Page Numbers after creating the updated PDF.
Can I remove blank scanned pages?
Yes, if you know which pages are blank. Enter those page numbers and create the updated file. For long scanned PDFs, open the source in a viewer first and write down the blank page positions so you do not remove a page that contains content.
