Read the Basic Details Inside a PDF
PDF Info creates a plain text report for a PDF. It is useful when you want to check page count, file size and document properties before sending, archiving or processing the file with another tool. The report is separate from the PDF, so the original document is not changed.
What the Report Includes
The report can show the file name, size, page count and common metadata fields such as title, author, subject, keywords, creator, producer and dates when those fields are available. That makes it easier to spot an old internal title, a missing author field or a file that has a different page count than expected.
Useful Before Sharing
PDF files can carry hidden document properties from Word, design software, scanner apps or previous versions of a file. A proposal may still show a draft title. A downloaded report may include a creator field from another system. PDF Info gives you a quick way to see what is there before you decide whether to edit metadata, remove metadata or send the file as it is.
Batch Checks
You can upload multiple PDFs and receive separate info reports in a ZIP file. That is helpful when reviewing a folder of client files, checking a batch of forms or confirming document details before combining files into one packet.
What It Does Not Do
PDF Info is a reader, not a validator or repair tool. It does not certify compliance, fix damaged files or change the PDF. If the report shows the wrong metadata, use Edit PDF Metadata or Remove PDF Metadata. If the file will not open, try Repair PDF.
