Split One PDF Into Smaller Files
Split PDF helps when a long document contains only a few pages you need. Upload one PDF, choose the pages or ranges to extract and download a smaller file focused on the exact section you want.
Page Ranges
You can enter single pages, ranges or a mix of both. For example, 1-3 extracts the first three pages, while 2, 5, 9-12 extracts a custom set. The selected pages are copied into a new PDF and the original file stays unchanged.
When Splitting Helps
Use Split PDF when a report includes an appendix you need to send separately, a textbook PDF contains one chapter, a form packet includes several unrelated forms or a scanned file holds many documents in one upload. It is also helpful when a portal has a file size limit and you only need to submit part of the PDF.
Split or Delete Pages
Split PDF is best when you want to pull out the pages you need. Delete PDF Pages is better when most of the document is correct but a few pages should be removed. Both approaches keep the source file untouched and create a new output.
Before Downloading
Check the page numbers carefully before running the job. PDF page numbers in a viewer do not always match printed page numbers on the document, especially when there is a cover page or front matter. If the result is not the right section, adjust the range and try again.
File Cleanup
The uploaded PDF and the extracted output stay on the server only briefly; cleanup runs around 10 minutes after processing. Download the result while the link is active, then open it to confirm the correct pages are included before you share it.
